Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, IICS, and Python. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and optimizing data integration pipelines and real-time data ingestion using Snowpipe or Snowstream. The role involves working closely with business teams, architects, and developers to design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions and ensure smooth data flow across systems for analytics and reporting.

Requirements:

• Snowflake Expertise: Extensive experience in designing and developing solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Snowstream, and external stages.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake concepts like virtual warehouses, streams, tasks, time travel, and cloning.
• Informatica Cloud (IICS): 3+ years of experience in ETL/ELT development using IICS.
• Experience integrating IICS with Snowflake and other cloud ecosystems.
• Python Development: Strong proficiency in Python scripting for data processing and automation.
• Experience integrating Python with Snowflake using Snowpark or external connectors.
• Data Integration and Streaming Knowledge of real-time ingestion tools like Snowpipe, Snowstream, and cloud event notification services.
• Experience with cloud storage platforms (AWS S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage).
• SQL and Query OptimizationStrong hands-on experience in SQL development for complex queries, stored procedures, and query tuning.
• Experience with performance optimization in Snowflake.
• Cloud Ecosystems: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for data integration and storage.
• Experience working with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).
• General Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Snowflake Snowpark for Python-based processing.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and security concepts in Snowflake.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments.
• Certification in Snowflake, Informatica IICS, or relevant cloud platforms
